You should definitely try and get out on one if you have the chance. I had an f22 and sold it in less than a year. I mainly wakeboard and found the f22 to have a very finicky/ Lippy wake. I Tried all sorts of different weight configurations and just got tired of the lack of a consistent board wake so I sold it.
I found with my old 15 22 tomcat, that more bow weight over stock created a nasty lip at the top of the wake. I found it best to run 3/4 ish to 1/2 stock. Then a big ole sac on the floor in the cabin area. You may want to try that If your having a hard time getting your wake dialed. Seemed bow weight did the opposite of what you would expect it to.
Honda tech is correct.
there Are things that I Liked better on my mb, and some things that I'm happier with on the new axis. Bottom line is tho that I needed a 20' boat
More sub? In my 15 tomcat, same stock sub, the bass is insane. We only have the bass knob at 1/3 power. I think the factory and exile have done a great job with the stock sub and location. But to each their own...
I have a pair of white xm9's that I pulled off my 15 tomcat. Like new, only used for 4 months. Included are the exile covers. $750 plus shipping, I'm in Illinois
Are you afraid of them scratching the boat at all since they are metal?
Never gave it much thought, but So far so good.
I take great care of my boats, but I'm not the type to be over conscious of things that keep me from having fun
I was skeptical about paying $30 for a coozie myself. Got one as a gift and it's amazing. Worth every cent if you ask me. My whole crew went out and bought them now
Pics would be great as I am hoping to add the wake makers system to my 15. I've gotten advice from my dealer but would also like to see where you guys have put them
