Tim
At the Detroit Boat Show, a vendor had a boat lift attachment.. It's a geared wheel that's powered by any screw gun instead of an electric motor. The geared wheel rides against the boat lift winch wheel. The screw gun along with the geared wheel apparently has enough torque to turn the lift wheel and thus raise and lower a boat. The vendor was called Lighting Lift. The whole kit was $200 I think. The guy was working on his website so it's no available yet, but LightingLift.net. Are these mechanisms able to lift boat? My boat is only 3600 lbs dry. I've seen pictures of one something like this maybe 5-10 years ago, but nothing for sale. BOAT LIFT BUDDY- WHEEL-ASSIST LIFT MOTOR by EXTREME MAX has the same idea, but it's powered by a motor, not a screw gun.
Tim
I asked for a video of it lifting a boat and never heard back.
Aquaphene
We have a ton of these on our lake (white Lake, white lake Mi). I was so impressed, I decided to try it. The website is " .net" (not .com.). I also seen them on ebay when I searched "boat lift motor kit". Super impressed. By far the easiest kit I've installed. The best part is if you have an 18-24 drill, there is nothing else to buy now nor in the future. My drill has 3 speeds low-high-turbo. As the ad stated, it is undoubtedly lightning fast! On the high setting, I clocked it around 25sec to fully lift my 22' MB weighing in around 5000lbs (including fuel and gear). I think if I tried it on turbo, it would make a hydraulic lift look slow lol. I paid 350 and all I can say it is well worth the money. The best part about it is that Iam using my boat alot more. A quick morning surf before work, last minute sunsets, or a quick hot lap before dusk. Oh and I just remembered, they also have a store front on FB. My only regret is not getting one sooner. Hope this helps.
Tim
Can you create a video of it lifting a boat? I'm in Brighton. Neither the .com or .net sites work
