Hey guys, I have 2 props a 2775 15x12. And a 2701 14.5x15.5. I run the 2775 at our home lake Powell elevation 4,000 feet. I’m going to California lake naciamento. elevation is 900 feet. Will the 2775 work or should I use the 2701 on a 400 motor full weight in ballast. Want to make sure I can get to surf speed. Thanks guys.

The 2775 will work fine.  It is just shallower pitch/more aggressive than you really need at low elevation. The 2701 would likely work, too, but is at the other end of the spectrum and could be pushing its limits depending on how much ballast you want to run and how fast you want to move it.

Agree that the 2247 is WAY preferable to the 2775 at low elevation but I don't see any reason to spend new-prop money for a single trip.  The 2775 will pull almost any weight you throw at it, in exchange for running at high rpm everywhere.
