Greeko
Before and after The front end looks super flat...does it still have decent push?
clovenburg
In that picture it does look flat but that's the only picture I have of it. It seems to change every time you get in the boat. # of riders, weight, ballast and water conditions as we all know.

Jughead
Ok....complete newbie question. I just sold my 06 Moomba and am picking up a 2014 F24 this week. Does the the DYI slapper attached to the swim deck go on the same side you surf on or opposite? With the Moomba I ran 1000 in surf side locker and 400 in center locker. But that was on a 21 footer. So I am gonna be needing help.
oldsmobiledriver
Opposite. And make sure it's no more than 25 degree off the side of the boat The Donfather
PNWSurfer
I set the wave plate at a 20 degree angle and it's been workin beautifully! Wave is solid! MidnightMax, oldsmobiledriver and LOWB52
Zhem
Opposite. And make sure it's no more than 25 degree off the side of the boat Why 25 degrees? Just curious, the new delta design is close to a 90 degree angle.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MidnightMax
Yes but the Delta tab is much shorter. for the delayed convergence to work you need something that sticks out wider than the hull about 6-7" for a 20-22" long tab that is angles out at about 25 degrees deflection from the side of the boat gives you that 6 to 7"

So it is more a function of distance from the hull than the actual angle? Any idea what happens as the distance is increased beyond the 7 inches? How about if you move the actual gate forward/backward on the hull? I built a ghetto/suck gate but have only had the opportunity to use it a couple of times. Currently still trying to dial in the best location and size/angle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
