One side broke in the spring and just yesterday put the tower down and the other side snapped sending the tower crashing down to my seat. Is there any other new update to this design? The dealer fixed it under warranty , so now we only put it down enough to get it out of the shop . TripleG Posted August 13, 2022 Report Share Posted August 13, 2022 Mine snapped for the second time, not paying $700 for the dealer to do it.....again. Bought new cables yesterday and am installing. Was going super smooth until the strut grenaded while extending it...which is a chore. Now have to find a new strut. Action here in AZ is going to try MB on Monday. If none I found a place that will make one, just need the stats, force and diameters and what not. Any advice from someone that has done this...
