Would prefer to stay with MB though. As much as i complain about the hideousness of the new designs I'm pretty brand loyal. are they forcing powder coating on the stuff that's typically billet? I much prefer the billet look, powder coating looks cheap. breakz77

Guppydriver
Looks like prices went up pretty substantially. About a month ago (or less), I was quoted about $97ish for a pretty loaded classic B52 (no theatre lights and basic trailer with 15 inch wheels were really the only omissions) and yesterday the same build is about $104. These were both 2021 models , so I assume there was a price increase maybe Sep 1 or something. Interesting that the B52/A and the F22/A are pretty much the same price fully loaded. Looks like your not really paying much for that extra foot (and bow storage...the F22 has none because of the horseshoe bag. ) I was so hoping that I could work an MB into my budget, not sure that is going to be a possibility now with the increases. Looks like I may have have to head to the MC, Moomba, Supreme and Axis dealers again.....ugh. Birddog7.62

Not a Moomba fan but you do get a lot of boat for the dollar, just not that nice. Birddog7.62 and Kalen427

The ZS232 seems to have many of the features of the Centurion in the very low 100's and the fit and finish seem real nice. Also, the S238 (although not quite the surfer) seems to be available at around the 85k, which is pretty amazing for a 23'8'' boat. Or maybe I'm just trying to convince myself since this price increase may have put MB out of my budget..lol.
Hyperryd
Sorry. Never been a supreme fan. If you compare the price of a ZS232 which is comparable to a B52 then you will see the Supreme is more money.
jcole21
I think the whole market moved up... new stuff sold out, prices went up on what was left, dealers getting a higher % of msrp than they did historically because of that supply / demand... I’d guess every other boat manufacturer is doing the same. Sucks, but if you’ve got one you’re looking to sell the increased value on that side hopefully offsets the hike. If you’re just buying in, I think you’ll need to go down market or kick your spend up 10% or wait. Maybe covid goes away and the surge in demand drops / supply catches up, but I don’t think that’s until h2 next year. -guy who paid 10% over old market value in July based on inventory

I've wanted a seafoam blue in metallic and would have chosen it when I ordered my 19 if they would have had it as an option...didn't know at the time they would make custom colors for those that wanted. Oh well. Next boat 😁

I had a ZS232 that was loaded. it is well put together for sure but it still feels like a budget boat. The MB with hinged seats and all the other options feels way closer to a high end (Nautique, etc) boat than it does to a budget (Supreme/Moomba) boat. In my mind, there is NO better option for the price. Hyperryd

Guppydriver
Interesting that on the online configurator, some of the same exact powder coat options that are free on the B52 are additional cost options on the F22/A. The B52 logo and exterior "other" powder coat options can be added for no additional cost, but the Tomcat and exterior "other" on the F22 are extra. There was another example in the interior that I can't remember.
