Guppydriver
With Black Friday only a month or so away, I'm thinking about stocking up on gear in anticipation for my April delivery. Hoping to save some money as opposed to buying at the start of the season. Things like boards, lead, vests, anchor and what not... If there are any doorbuster deals on cleaning products, I might jump at that too. I've used 303 in the past (because I had some for my hot tub), but wondering what your guys' elixir of choice is for your boat and why. schill38
I use Hot Sauce for the outside and Vinyl Sauce for the inside, have used the products for 6 years on my old Tige and my MB and have had 0 issues!
oboyskibum
I have found that I like Boat Juice better than Hot Sauce. I think the ceramic sealant gives it a better shine and cleans up better.

For me it always left a weird film on my boat??

Hyperryd
Just a heads up. If you have the Chill Tech upholstery you can’t use any of these products or they will diminish the cooling properties. Only use water with a little dish soap. That’s straight from the Chill Tech website. bloodiestcadaver

markk_67
How do you know if you have "Chil Cool Technology"? Did it come standard in any MBs?

I think the ceramic holds the junk when the towel is dirty and isn't getting buffed into a nice clean finish that will repel water next time around. just my 2 cents. Hot sauce work really well i will agree.

Anything but standard...It's actually quite expensive to add. If you were to build a B52/A with every upholstery selection as Chill Cool, it would a little over 5K list to the price. I heard the sprays are not good so I switched to cream. Its almost worse IMO. IF anybody has a suggestion that would be good. What about a medium bristol scrub brush? I haven't tried that yet, i was too afraid

CJacksonLASD
Does anyone here also buff wax like carnuba wax, on top of Hot Sauce or Boat Juice Exterior. I haven't but was told to by others.

Shasta Is Life
Is “gator step” the same as this “chill cool” product? Just bought 21 B52 Alpha and want to be sure to take care of it right. Great forum!

Just bought 21 B52 Alpha and want to be sure to take care of it right. Great forum! Gatorstep is the flooring and non-skid step areas. https://gatorstep.com/ The chill cool is the upholstery (seats, cushions etc). Its a unique upholstery material that is supposed to stay cooler in the hot sun. @Hyperryd had it on his boat because black upholstery gets VERY warm in the sun. It's not the standard material though so if you don't have a dark color, you probably don't have or need it. Also, welcome to the forum! Stick around and help us build the activity back up. The forum software didn't work for quite some time and people left but it is fixed finally!

volfo
so I am a big fan of the boat bling but a little scared to use it on my chill tech interior (even though I know my dealer did when he delivered it). I looked at the boat bling website and they have a new product that they specifically say is safe with chill tech and similar interiors. However, the chill tech website doesn't mention this and still only says what was posted above. Thoughts? Stick with soap and water or use the new boat bling safe with chill tech material?
