Compression seal makes a lot more sense than trusting glue on plastics that don't want to bond. That Banjo fitting seems to be the actual budget fix here, assuming it stays tight.
LOL yea Wakemakers is crazy. I called them 4 times to ask about other ways to fix the bags after they told me how much they cost. To their credit they did tell me it might be possible to fix with glue or bulkheads.
Amazon did not have a good bulkhead too skinny - neither did home depot. I went ahead and bought this same Banjo one ^ from Grainger. Grinded it down (hot plastic mess) to fit inside the bag and we surfed every day that next trip Still time to tell if it's gonna be a lasting solution. I did not use that Gear Aid glue because when I chatgpt'd it, the plastic type of the banjo plus the plastic type of the bag is not a match for glue. Basically there's no adhesive that is supposed to put those materials together. The seal is the compression of the bulkhead against the bag. Fingers crossed!
Those O2 faults can hang around in the ECU even after the bad sensor is swapped, so the dash code alone is pretty useless. The mechanic scan is probably the only way to see which sensor it still thinks is unhappy.
